All About Me

"A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing." - George Bernard Shaw.

I liked this quote because it is an important life lesson to learn and keep in your head.  It's better to fail a couple times than not try at all.  I like that because I think that it is important that you don't let fear stop you from trying new things, like joining the soccer team or the spell bowl team!  Sometimes, I get scared that if I try something, I am going to fail, so I don't end up doing it.  Usually, I end up regretting not doing it later. I think that it is important to try your best and try new things, even if the means failing a couple of times.

My name is Sydney and I am a student at Lincoln Junior High School in Plymouth, Indiana.  I am in the 7th grade.  Some of my favorite things to do include playing soccer, drawing, playing games, reading books, and more!  This is my portfolio I am going to be using to post my progress in school, my schoolwork, my thoughts on certain topics, etc.  I am really excited to post my progress and growth in school on this blog, so you can look at it too and watch me progressively grow and grow.  I hope you are having as much fun on this blog as I am! Thank you for visiting my blog! I appreciate you taking interest in my growth and development.

What are you the most excited about on my blog?  Why? Leave a comment!

    1. Miss W,
Okay! Thanks for the advice! I think that people should be able to use their name or url as an option now. I will also make sure to keep looking at other students' blogs as well!
